The entrance to the building is through a single glass door into a welcoming reception area, which leads to the main hall. The entrance hall comprises of a large drawing room, elegant dining room, conservatory, single bedroom and staircase with chair lift leading to the first and second floors.

Our adjoining building has two further drawing rooms with spacious seating areas and a further large airy conservatory which leads into the front garden area. This building has a passenger lift.

Alistre Lodge is registered to accommodate 43 people aged 65 and over and personal accommodation comprises of 6 double rooms and 31 singles mostly with en-suite facilities. Each individually decorated room has a remote controlled television and has been designed to provide maximum space by the placing of fitted wardrobes, chest of drawers and bedside chests. All rooms are connected to an emergency buzzer system for a quick and rapid response from staff members should you need assistance. Rooms can accommodate your own personal furniture and belongings (in accordance with current fire, health and safety regulations). There are also numerous toilets throughout the building.

The bathrooms are designed to facilitate the individual’s needs, electric hoist etc. All residents have individual keys to their rooms (unless their risk assessment suggest otherwise) for privacy and security.

The home has a comprehensive safety alarm system fitted and this is linked to a central control panel.

Security

For security & safety purposes, CCTV isĀ  in operation and comply with Data Protection Act 1998. CCTV cameras are located (Externally) on all exit routes, (Internally) in all communal areas.

Door alarms are fitted to all exit doors, alarms will be activated if unauthorised activity.
