History of the Home

Alistre Lodge comprises of 2 houses which were converted into 1 large establishment in 2006. One which is a mock Tudor house built originally for family use which was converted to a Rest Home in 1983 designed to meet the needs of the Elderly. The other was a large house again originally designed for family use which was converted to a nursing home over 20 years ago. The home enjoys beautiful landscaped gardens and a unique pond teaming with Koi Carp and a water feature. Alistre Lodge is in Band 1 (which is the topband) of the Local Authorities accredited list of residential & nursing home services. The home can also offer Continuing Healthcare. It is also rated by the Care Quality Commission as “Good”

Situation of Alistre Lodge

Alistre Lodge is situated in a quiet residential area on St Anne’s Road East, which is the continuation of St Anne’s Road West, which runs off Clifton Drive. It is however within walking distance of St Anne’s Square (with its main shopping area) and all local amenities. The home is also on many local bus routes.
